National Security Advisor.

The Assistant to the Political Leader for National Security Affairs, commonly referred to as the National Security Advisor, or at times informally termed the NSC advisor, is a senior aide to the political leader and ultimately in the Executive Office of The Prime Minister, and serves as the chief in-house advisor to the Prime Minister on National Security issues.

 

The Assistant to the Political Leader for National Security Affairs also participates in the meetings of the National Security Council and usually chairs the Principals Committee meetings with the Chief of Staff and Minister of National Security (i.e., the meetings not attended by the Prime Minister). The Assistant to the Political Leader for National Security Affairs is supported by the National Security Council staff that produces research and briefings for The Assistant to the Political Leader for National Security Affairs to review and present, either to the National Security Council or directly to the Prime Minister. The Assistant to the Political Leader for National Security Affairs is Mr. Ray Banwari.

 

Mr. Banwarie brings with him a wealth of knowledge relating to crime and security having worked directly in the communities and one on one with businesses and individuals helping them to achieve they security needs. He presently runs a very successful security community and has implemented several initiatives which have showed marked results for the businesses and individuals he has worked with. He was born November 26th, 1977 and holds amongst other qualifications a certificate in Adult Literacy which he uses in support groups teaching adults to read and write. He also holds qualifications in Business Management and over the years has excelled in several ventures using his practical and learned skills in the Business World. He has known the Political Leader both as a business associate and in a private capacity for over ten years. When The Organization of Independent Candidates was formed and Mr. Khan and Mr. Banwarie had preliminary discussions, he determined he wanted to be a part of the change in Trinidad and Tobago and Mr. Khan saw in him an individual with integrity, honesty and determination to make the change that is desperately needed in Trinidad and Tobago.
